Money MattersStudies show that youth learn their money management skills from their parents. However, many of us didn't learn financial literacy ahead of time. We learned it by trial and error. We want our youth to learn money management ahead of time. Many youth are graduating from high school without learning how to develop a spending plan ("spending plan" can be used instead of the term "budget"). Because youth are the largest market population controlling our economy, there is an entire field devoted to teaching youth and families about money management.
