Kinship Mentor North
Kinship
Mentor North is a community-based mentor program
that matches Cook County youth (ages 7-14) with positive, caring adult
volunteers in order to nurture personal growth, develop social skills,
foster success in school and build community.
We have mentors ready for kids --
and kids ready for mentors --
and, in order to make the right matches,
we would love to have more of both !!!
If you are interested in mentoring,
or having a mentor for your child,
please contact:

Our
goal is to support and inspire young people through
consistent, caring mentoring relationships with strong adult role models.
Youth
served are 7-14 year old Cook County residents (in grades 2-9)
who could benefit from a caring relationship
with another positive adult role model.
Mentors
are adults (individuals, couples or families) who care about kids
and can spend an average of an hour per week for a year
to
support, nurture and have fun with a child.

Kinship
Mentor North is generously funded, in part, through grants from the
Minnesota Power Foundation
and the Arrowhead Electric Cooperative.
